Description:

Perched high atop a ridge above the Verde River, Tuzigoot National Monument contains the remnants of one of the largest pueblos built by the Sinaguan people. A quarter-mile trial guides visitors through the ruins of the building, which once was two stories high and contained 110 rooms. The visitor center contains a museum exhibiting Sinaguan artifacts and the site lies just east of Clarkdale, near Dead Horse Ranch State Park.

Open daily Memorial Day - Labor Day: 8:00 a.m. - 6:00 p.m.; Labor Day - Memorial Day: Daily 8:00 a.m. - 5:00 p.m.
